Altanib nova Tablet contains Imatinib Mesylate as its active ingredient. It blocks the abnormal BCR-ABL tyrosine kinase that is responsible for cancer cell growth and proliferation. It binds to the mutated BCR-ABL tyrosine kinase that inhibits further signaling of cancer progression. As a result, cancer cell eventually dies.
